Welcome to Pixlr. Here are a few notes for usage.

1) If you try to access an image from flikr, and it's protected, you will load a 1px. gif.
To circumvent that from happening, please check this link for workarounds.

2) Since Pixlr is using shapes to create the image, you can install a program like CutePDF Writer, and 'print' your art to a PDF file which you could then open and edit in Illustrator or some other vector program. If you use this to create a project please drop me a line via my contact page. I'd love to see where you take it.

3) Currently the program is not available for download, so you can use images from the internet only. If you have an image you want to pixelate, you can use a free image hosting service like photobucket or flikr.

4) Hit the 'randomize' button on the 'display' tab to get an idea of some of the layouts possible.
